ON-POINT takes over program & project management – for a few months or for several years, depending on the client’s needs. We create a master plan, we track all parts of our projects, including risk and issues management, and we take over communications as well as stakeholder management for our clients.
While we take over program & project management for our clients, they have time to focus on what they do best: Run their business.
Business Analysis & Requirements Engineering
ON-POINT analyses the business and the requirements for new IT transformation projects. We help our clients identify the special requirements for their business or project, we identify possibly needed change within a project or a company, we ensure traceability and we act as interface between business and IT.
We believe that nothing is as crucial for success as clearly understanding and expressing requirements before the start of a business transformation.
Solution Architecture & Business Design
ON-POINT ensures all the systems in an IT landscape are in the right place and well connected with each other. We ensure our clients IT landscape is lean, easy to understand and to maintain, but at the same time flexible and extendable.
One of our specialties is Avaloq. We understand the overall Avaloq architecture as well as the common IT architecture of banks, which allows us to fit Avaloq (or any other IT system) into an already existing landscape.
Implementation
ON-POINT walks the talk – after finding the right solution for our clients, we implement it. We implement the technical designs as a product or product component, we test every part of the system, we fix the solution where necessary, we conduct technical reviews and we support quality assurance.
In short – we stay with our clients all the way until a new solution is implemented and works flawlessly.
Test Design & Management
ON-POINT tests newly deployed IT systems in every possible way, including integration tests, functional system tests, regression tests, user acceptance tests, life cycle tests, and simulations. We set up the correct criteria, we conduct the tests and report the results to our clients. If required, we can also set-up and manage offshore testing.
Testing is the quality assurance process of any implementation. We help our clients with our expertise and knowledge to ensure the highest possible quality of new systems.
Cut-over Management
ON-POINT takes over the cut-over management for implementation projects. We create a roadmap, define the scope, write the storybook, control the setup as well as the governance structure, and we manage all communications, resources, and reporting for our clients.
We like to call the cut-over “the moment of truth”. Because you know only after a newly developed component is live AND your system still runs flawlessly, that the implementation of a new software, system, or application landscape has been a success.
